I was really looking forward to the Homeboys rehearsal this week. Miss you, Alan.
I was looking forward to many more years of friendship. You’ll always be with us, Alan.
I will remember Alan for his generosity of spirit, his infectious smile and always steady groove. You will be missed. Peace.
I will always remember Alan’s warmth, generosity of spirit, and optimism despite all the formidable challenges in his life. Thanks for all the years of friendship which I will always treasure. You will be sadly missed, Alan.
I lost contact with Alan but never forgot him. I will miss him and feel that I lost a good friend. We had some laughs and he was just such a good soul. I feel very fortunate to have crossed paths in this life with him. Till we meet again….
I will never forget dancing, singing, talking, and many good times you will always be in many hearts and lives.
Alan, I will always look back fondly and lovingly on my days as a Samurai Homeboy, and on our days together back in 1980 in “Magic”. We sure did Party! I’ll always remember you as a kind, positive, caring, and laughing Dude. You were a Good Guy, Alan. No matter what BS popped up in your life, you handled it like you played: SOLIDLY.
God Bless You, Alan.
I met the wonderful Alan Hirano, because of his then lead singer, Rev.Carl Roberts. My friend and I spent many a wonderful weekend seeing the Samurai Homeboys !! Al was always a pleasure to be around. Shared his knowledge and his friendship with me (and my friend). I was speachless when I heard that he was gone. The Samurai Warrior armed with his sword (bass guitar)….Will never be forgotten !! Peace, Brother Al, I am sure Heaven has a Soul section (I mean it has rock n roll, right!). Love & Miss you…. Dee
Alan and me worked together for 15 months roping wild horses.
No small feat. We shared many a meal and many a tale. May the road rise with you.
