Really enjoyed the show at Cozy’s last Saturday. I haven’t seen this band in a while and realised I missed them. What a band! Tighter than two coats of paint. I was surprised to hear them play “Get It On” by Chase and “One Fine Morning” by Lighthouse. Very cool.

I’ve heard this band a few times in the past couple of years at Cozy’s. They really impressed me with their tremendous musicianship and showmenship. I’ve known Alan Hirano for a number of years so I knew his versatility. But, let me tell you…from the first note the excitement kicks in. The GUITARIST in the band, TONY….forget all these big buck wanna be’s…You gotta hear Tony!!!! Tony can play anything and make it his own while retaining the soul of the original. Tony, can play and be Terry Kath of Chicago, All the guitarist in Steely Dan, All the soul guitarist with that soulful funk. On top of that Tony is a very kind hearted down to earth man. Go hear Tony play any chance you get. Walter…. this man has that Stevie Winwood Hammond sound down pat. Walter adds great emphasis with his vocals and keyboards tothe heart and soul of the band. I don’t know Norm, he’s a bit quiet but when he talks to the audience with that trumpet…look out cause that horn section really kicks. The sax player I heard for the first time this Sat. the 5th at Cozy’s, he is very good and contributes very well to the band. The drummer did his job very well, he kept it together and authentic. The new singer has a good voice that will get even better as he racks up the miles with the band. He will become more at home and the showmanship/frontman will develop more. GO SEE THIS BAND LIVE!!! p.S. Tony is a great guitarist

The Homeboys ROCKED Cozy’s. You guys are such a tight band and I just love the venue. Good food and great service. I can’t wait to see you all again.
