A wake to celebrate the life of Alan Hirano is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, February 8th, at an undisclosed location. Please contact any of the Samurai Homeboys or Alan’s close friends for details.
Bassist, producer Alan Hirano was bandleader of the Samurai Homeboys. The photo above, one of Alan’s favorites, was taken while on tour with Vanessa Williams at the Greek Theater in Hollywood. Alan passed away unexpectedly in his home last Wendesday, Jan. 14.

Samurai Homeboys will be performing at the 2008 Lemon Fest on Sunday, September 7th, So bring your friends and family down to this great fair. There is something for all ages with funky soul music on stage from 4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. Sunday afternoon at this years Lemon Fest in Ventura, CA.
